CWC Services wish all our customers a very happy and peaceful holiday period.

2013 has been a very interesting year for us with new products and improvements to existing ones. More to come!

We are looking forward to introducing a new system in 2014 which be the most interesting and unique development in emergency management and tracking ever. It is still in development so keep looking on our website and we will provide information about it as soon as it is ready.

Our office will be closed from December 20, opening again on January 6 and the factory is also closed during this time.

We look forward to dealing with your orders and enquiries in the New Year.

PRICE RISING ON JANUARY 1 2014

Written by Carl Wallin on .

Due to rises in the cost of paper and production, we are having to raise prices at the end of this year.

Prices will rise 8.4% as, despite our best efforts, we cannot absorb the cost pressures any longer. The new prices will come into effect on 1 January 2014.

Our products continue to be improved with new features, such as better number/bar code strips, and most will have GS1 bar codes by the end of the year. The Firstaidform has been substantially improved, with continuation sheets for additional information, arising from a need identified by customers, for which we are very grateful.

What we produce is the nationally recognised standard for emergency documentation and will still be made to the highest quality by a dedicated and motivated UK workforce.

You can remain confident that you will be getting the very best products and systems available in the market.

The Royal Free Hospital London NHS Foundation Trust

The Royal Free Hospital London NHS Foundation Trust has now taken delivery of the Cruciform Patient Evacuation System (CPES), the first London Hospital to be so equipped. The Trust wants to ensure that if the hospital has to undertake an evacuation of it's patients, it can track and trace them using the unique GS1 numbers and bar codes. Clinicians will be able to maintain clinical care of their patients and relatives/friends can be reassured about their location and safety.

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals in Kent already have the system and Frenchay Hospital in Bristol has started equipping their most critical areas with the system. Other Trusts are also considering the system.

The "Cruciform" Patient Evacuation System (CPES) is proving of great interest to Emergency Planning and Resilience Managers around the UK. A number of Trust managers are actively looking to introduce the system.

We have just been informed that the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is now about to order the system for their Trust. They will be the first London Trust to introduce the system.
