Sad News. The founder of CWC Services has passed away.
It is with great sadness we inform you that the founder of CWC Services, Carl Wallin, died peacefully on the morning of 3rd August 2018.
During his 3 year battle with cancer, Carl remained an active consultant with the company, alongside pursuing personal projects. Alongside, he travelled across Scandinavia and also self-published a body of poetry, a quiet ambition that he was proud to fulfil.
Carl spent the majority of his working life dedicated to emergency management and response. After many years with the UK's ambulance services, Carl formed CWC Services with the vision to build products and services that would improve emergency processes, saving lives and improving efficiency. Key among these products were the Cruciform® Triage system and a range of specialist log books including the Emergency Log Book and the Pocket Log Book range. The products arose from Carl's willingness to share and co-create best practices in order to save lives and improve verifiability for individuals and organisations.
We proudly continue to represent Carl's vision and celebrate the life of our kind and gentle friend who was full of creative energy and zeal for what was to come next. We are sure many of you also had the great pleasure of knowing Carl and would like to invite you to leave messages of condolence or memories on this remembrance page.
It is impossible to express in words the spirit that Carl has been in our lives. An everyday business relationship that quickly developed into a deep friendship; laughs a plenty, long conversations and a genuine sense of the kindred. Our dear friend Carl, you are and will continue to be sorely missed.
