Newsletter: Price Rises January 2016
Due to unavoidable rises in the cost of manufacturing our products, we are having to raise our prices at the end of this year.
Prices will rise by 5% from those currently listed on our order page as, having held our prices for the last two years, we cannot absorb increasing costs any longer. Discounts for retailers and regular customers making large orders remain in effect and will be applied to the new prices.
New prices will come into effect on 1 January 2016.
Christmas / New Year Period
Our offices are closed from 24th December and reopen on Monday 4th January. We will however be able to handle email enquiries and orders on working days over this period. Any orders received by midday 22nd December will be processed by our warehouse for delivery on 23-24th or 28-30th December. Any orders received after this time will be shipped in the week beginning 4th January.
We you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and look forward to your continued business in 2016!
Other News
Our products are continually improved with new features. Over the past two years, we have implemented GS1 bar codes across our products range, a global standard mandated by the UK NHS amongst others. The FirstAidForm was improved with continuation sheets for additional information, arising from a need identified by our customers. We're always interested in customer feedback and, where appropriate, our products improve as a result. Next year our book products will have plastic-coated covers, adding water resistance and improving their resilience in use and over time.
We continue to streamline and modernise our ordering process. Several years ago we introduced online ordering to our website for customers holding an account with us. At the beginning of this year, we added a facility for individuals or organisations without an account to order from us with a credit or debit card. This facility can be used by our regular customers or for one-off orders large and small.
We've improved our online ordering system still further. The new system will automatically apply discounts of 10%, 15% and 20% for orders of 10+, 30+ and 50+ items. It is easier to use and applies fairer shipping charges, and will come into effect along with the new prices on 1st January 2016.
Our smartphone-based electronic system for track and trace - EDIS, is in ongoing development for clients in emergency response, education and logistics sectors. It is fully compatible with our Triage and Hospital/Local Authority Evacuation products, and can be linked to our logbooks. Please take a look at our EDIS product page for further information.
We'll continue to evolve our peerless, internationally recognised emergency documentation products. In the meantime, they continue to be made to the highest quality by a dedicated and motivated UK workforce.
You can rest assured that you will get the very best products and systems available from CWC Services.
